Introduction to Palo for Excel

This introductory class is designed to get you started with Palo for Excel. Intermediate knowledge of Excel is recommended for best results. Classes can be held onsite at customer or at the Abraneo Training Center.

Upon successful completion, you will learn:
  • The difference between OLAP and relational databases
  • How to build a Palo Cube, Dimension, Herarchy and Attributes
  • The basics of cube design
  • Input data methods using Palo for Excel
  • How to create Ad-hoc and standard reports in Excel

Introduction to Palo Web

This introductory class is designed to leverage your existing Palo for Excel knowledge and gain a basic understanding of Palo Web. Classes can be held onsite at customer or at the Abraneo Training Center.

Upon successful completion, you will learn:
  • How to interact with files and folders on Palo Web
  • The basics of Palo Web Spreadsheets
  • Advanced Palo Web report writing with Palo DynaRanges(tm)
  • Create dynamic reports using interactive spreadsheets (Combo-Box, Check-Box, Buttons, etc.)
  • Create input templates via Palo Web
  • Administration basics of Palo Web

Palo for Excel Jump-Start Training! (TM)

This two-day workshop is intended to help customers and prospective customers quickly understand the core features and functionality of Jedox’ Premium Palo with Excel.The material is presented in a fast-paced environment with “hands on” exercises to re-enforce key concepts. Intermediate (or greater) knowledge of Excel is recommended for best results. Upon successful completion, customers will be able to build dimensions, cubes, load data, and create ad hoc and standard reporting using Palo with Excel. Workshops can be held onsite at customer or at the Abraneo Training Center.

Advanced Palo for Excel

This advanced class is designed to further your knowledge of dimension building, cube creation, attributes, available Palo functions, advanced report writing, and gain a basic understanding of Palo rules and security. Classes can be held onsite at customer or at the Abraneo Training Center.

  • The power of all the Palo functions available
  • Advanced and dynamic Excel writing techniques with Palo
  • The basics of writing Palo Rules

Basic Palo ETL

This advanced class is focused on learning Palo ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load tool). Previous experience with ETL tools is helpful but not required. Class can be held onsite at customer or at the Abraneo Training Center.
